Ingredients
Beef chuck roll containing up to 16% solution of water, vinegar, salt, and natural flavoring. coated with sauce (water, tomato paste, sugar, vinegar, soybean oil, salt, guajillo puree (guajillo peppers, salt), tomato puree, spices, beef stock, 2% or less garlic powder, dextrose, onion powder, citric acid, xanthan gum, natural flavors), and seasoning (spice, salt, dehydrated garlic, natural flavor, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, maltodextrin (from corn), molasses, paprika (color), maltodextrin (from rice), onion juice concentrate, spice extractives, annatto (color)).

Cooking Methods

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Remove the marinated Birria beef and sauce from the packaging and place it in an oven-safe dish.
  3. Add 1/2 cup of water to the dish to enhance the sauce and keep the beef moist. Stir gently to combine, making sure the beef is evenly coated with the sauce.
  4. Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil to lock in the steam and flavors.
  5. Place the dish on the center rack and cook until the beef reaches an internal temperature of 205°F, approximately 2 to 2½ hours depending on your oven. For the ultimate pull-apart texture, allow it to cook a bit longer which will result in extra tender meat.
  6. Once the beef is ready, remove it from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before shredding with a fork.
